Rendering Unconscious episode 318.

Rendering Unconscious welcomes Majd Sayed and J.M. Hamade to the podcast!

Majd H. Sayed is a Palestinian psychotherapist and astrologer. They were born and raised in the West Bank, and are currently residing as a settler in Tkaronto in so-called Canada. They are doing their graduate studies on the intersections between madness/sanism and anti-Palestinian racism. They were born a dancer and somehow have not stopped since.

J.M. Hamade (starnightdwell) (they/them) is an author, researcher/scholar, artist, and educator based in New York City. Their work bridges contemporary creative modalities with archaic forms of knowing. The investigation and experimental application of talismanic art forms is at the forefront of their work, as well as a research and practice focus in the fields of lunar+stellar lore, non-European astrologies, Islamic esotericism, Afro-diaspora traditions, and the dæmonic imagination. Their new book is Procession of the Night Theatre: An Exposition on the Lunar Stations from Revelore Press. starnightdwell.com | IG @starnightdwell | patreon.com/starnightdwell
